These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ScreenLink (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

2. Your content

You retain ownership of recordings, titles, descriptions, and any other content you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, transcode, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate and provide the Service to you and to people you share with.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to record and upload Your Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights, including privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or confidentiality obligations.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Record or share content unlawfully, including without consent where consent is required.
Infringe intellectual property rights or misappropriate trade secrets.
Upload malware, attempt to disrupt the Service, reverse engineer it, or bypass security or rate limits.
Harass, threaten, defame, or share sexually exploitative content, especially involving minors.
Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts and remove content that violates these Terms, at our reasonable discretion.

4. Sharing & public links

Recordings shared via public links are accessible to anyone with the URL. You are responsible for the visibility and distribution of links you create.

5. Service availability & changes

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also impose limits on usage, storage, or recording length.

6. Fees

Core features may be offered free of charge. If we introduce paid plans, applicable terms and pricing will be presented before you subscribe.

7. Third-party services

The Service may rely on or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for those services and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SCREENLINK OR ITS OPERATORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScreenLink and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ScreenLink's operator is established, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
